Design Expo Raleigh wants to recognize the best of fashion and textile design that is happening here in the Triangle. If you are a fashion designer, textile designer, or accessory designer, and have a wonderful line or fabric you want to show off, please submit it to us for review. Any category is permissible: art to wear, high fashion, streetwear, performance sportswear, accessories, textile design, etc. If our panel of judges likes what they see along with the information you provide, you will receive a Letter of Offer to Exhibit your project in Exhibition '06.

Download the Fashion/Textile Design Entry Form and attach 8.5 x 11 pages illustrating the line, fabric, or accessory. Textile designs/fabric can and are encouraged to submit mounted sample. More than one image can be on each 8.5 x 11 page or you can add more pages and images, if necessary. If you are submitting a fashion object, please give at least two views of the item or items to be considered. Just give us enough information to make an effective decision.

Submission Requirements:

• You live, go to school, or work within the Research Triangle Region
   (i.e., the greater Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area)
• You are least 18 years of age
• You are the original creator of the design
• You have not copied anyone else's work
• A signed Photography Rights Form must be included in the submission entry
• If the design has been created for a second party, you must have the rights to show the design to the public
• If accepted, you will be required to provide an actual sample from the line or item or fabric or accessory for display. Also, if your submission is a fashion item or accessory, you will have the opportunity to show the complete line from which the sample was taken in a fashion show scheduled during the Exhibition.
• Entrants invited to exhibit will also be required to include a B/W photo of the designer(s), images of the line, fabric, or accessory, in JPEG form, and a brief written statement about the project, as well as the designer(s). This information will be used beside the display. Actual project submission details will be in the Letter of Offer to Exhibit.

$15/entry for Student Submission
$25/entry for Professional Submission

Participation fee (due after project has been accepted with other paperwork and images):
$35/entry for Student Submission        
$75/entry for Professional Submission
